Dear All,

I'd like to inform you that, after a short break, the mailing lists
at DesignTheory.org are back and operational again. Links to the related
web pages have changed so if you book-marked them before, please visit
    http://designtheory.org/mailing.html
page again.

Since many things have happened during the suspension of the lists, here
is a summary of important events at DesignTheory.org.

Releases:
---------

    2003-12-05: DESIGN 1.0 Package for GAP 4.3

DESIGN is a GAP package for classifying, partitioning and
	studying block designs.

2003-12-15: The External Representation of Block Designs v1.1

This document together with the related supporting files should
be of interest to those working in combinatorial or statistical
design theory, as well as those interested in the development
of standard electronic formats for mathematical objects.

    2004-02-29: The ext-rep Python Module v0.5

The ext_rep module is an API to a tree data structure to
represent the External Representation of Block Designs (ExtRep)
in the Python programming environment. The module also provides
related I/O operations for reading/writing XML (and partially
Lisp) ExtRep files or data. The module is part of the design
Python package although can be used separately.

All these packages can be downloaded from http://designtheory.org/.
The related documentation is also available online.
